Be intentional about spending time alone in prayer with God

Be intentional about spending time alone in prayer with God. Spending time alone with God was a priority for Jesus. He made room in his busy schedule to be alone with God. One such time was in Matthew 14:21. He sent away the crowd and went up on the mountain by himself to pray.

We can follow this example by finding a quiet place, free from distractions, and engaging in personal conversations with God. Spending time alone with God in prayer nurtures our vital relationship with him and equips us to meet life’s challenges and struggles.

While engaging in corporate prayer is beneficial, we must also develop the discipline of spending time alone with God. This personal time with God fosters our spiritual growth, helping us build an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit, and guiding us to become more like Jesus.

It is in these moments of solitude that we find empowerment and hope, as we deepen our understanding of God's love and purpose for us.
